La Amada

The La Amada project comprises 205 condominium residences set in a prime marina-front location within Playa Mujeres. Residences have views of the Caribbean Sea, the marina, or the Chacmuchuc Nature Preserve

One of Mexico’s premiere private equity firms purchased La Amada in late 2015. In January of 2016, PowerPlay was engaged to make recommendations on repositioning the project and to relaunch an international sales effort, which we began in the spring of 2017.

La Amada features one to three bedroom homes with luxurious interior finishes. Residences range from 1,700 up to 4,400 square feet for the largest penthouses, which also feature expansive rooftop decks. Some models offer service quarters. Prices range from $300,000 to just over $1,300,000 (USD).

Owners and guests enjoy access to a range of amenities, including the La Amada Beach Club, a gymnasium, tennis and paddle tennis, two rooftop pool decks, and communal areas with infinity swimming pools and tropical gardens. Extensive improvements expanded residential amenities to include a Marketplace Café, Kids Club, new concierge, and other enhancements.

Project Details

  • 205 residences consisting of 1 to 3 bedroom condominium homes. 138 initially available for sale upon project relaunch.
  • Approximate total project value = $100 Million USD.
  • Developer will offer fully furnished units along with an Airbnb/VRBO friendly rental management program for absentee owners.

Current Status

An onsite PowerPlay team is well underway, currently selling at a steady pace of three residences per month.
