POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in our team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, your strategic leadership will be crucial in driving high-quality sales leads that are essential for meeting and exceeding PowerPlay’s ambitious targets. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful launch and ongoing sales momentum of our new resort projects at PowerPlay. Your efforts will directly impact the visibility and appeal of our developments, making this role integral to our overall success. As the Marketing Manager, you will not only execute on the marketing strategies that attract potential buyers, but also collaborate closely with the sales team to convert these leads into successful transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Marketing Manager Responsibilities 

  • Execute Marketing Strategy: Implement the overarching marketing strategy by coordinating and managing a diverse array of marketing campaigns, ensuring each initiative aligns with project goals and brand standards.
  • Oversee and Execute Marketing Initiatives: Provide hands-on oversight and execution of approved marketing initiatives, stepping in to manage critical tasks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the project sales team to provide targeted marketing support on the ground, enhancing the effectiveness of sales efforts through tailored marketing activities.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors to produce high-quality campaign collateral, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the project’s branding and messaging.
  • Budget Management: Assist in tracking and managing project budgets, overseeing expenditures to ensure that all marketing activities are cost-effective and within budgetary constraints.
  • Manage Digital and PR Efforts: Handle all aspects of social media, public relations, and content marketing to build and maintain the project’s brand presence across multiple platforms.
  • Competitive Analysis: Evaluate and analyze competitive projects, providing insights and recommendations to ensure our offerings stand out in the market.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with various vendors and suppliers, including creative agencies, media planners, and PR firms, ensuring all external partnerships contribute positively to project outcomes.
  • Event Planning and Logistics: Plan and manage logistics for on-site events, ensuring every detail is covered to create memorable experiences that drive engagement and sales.
  • Content Creation: Develop and provide compelling copy for marketing materials, collateral, and brand communications, ensuring all content aligns with the project’s voice and objectives.
  • CRM and Database Management Support: Offer support in managing the CRM system and database, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and client interactions to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Travel to Project Sites: Travel as needed to and between project sites, providing on-the-ground marketing support and ensuring the seamless execution of marketing activities across locations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties or special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team and the project.

 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 

  • Educational Background and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 3-5 years of hands-on marketing experience. This should include expertise in both traditional and digital marketing strategies, such as social media management, PPC campaigns, and content marketing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the real estate sector is highly advantageous, providing valuable insights that enhance marketing effectiveness. A real estate sales license is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Skills and Adaptability: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The role demands an ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and maintain effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with the MS Office Suite is required. Familiarity with CRM systems, Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic design applications is beneficial and enhances your ability to manage client relationships and contribute to content creation.
